Filing a Report
Incidents of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, or stalking may be reported online through the . A report may be made anonymously, though it may affect the ability of Â鶹¹ÙÍø's Title IX program to offer assistance or investigate an incident. Reports may also be sent to TitleIX@utep.edu, which is received by Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinators. Upon receipt of a report, a member of the Title IX Program will reach out to a possible Complainant to discuss resources, rights, options and resources, to include but not limited to a formal complaint. Allegations of sex discrimination, sexual harassment (including sexual violence) or sexual misconduct will be handled by the Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and will use the preponderance of the evidence (more likely than not) standard to determine violations of the Policy. Finally, reports may also be made directly to the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinators.
