Welcome to Â鶹¹ÙÍø Spirit Operations! Our program includes Â鶹¹ÙÍø Cheer (co-ed and all-girl), Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dance, our beloved mascot (Paydirt Pete), and the Orange and Blue Spirit Crew (student fan group).
To provide a one of a kind service and memorable experience for our community stakeholders to believe and take pride in the University by being the essential connector of traditions, passion, and loyalty.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø Spirit will have a positive impact on all who interact with Â鶹¹ÙÍø Spirit members by providing an experience which connects us as Miners. We are the catalyst that will instill Miner pride and traditions for our campus, Â鶹¹ÙÍø Alumni, and El Paso Community. Our values will guide us to strengthen the partnership between our campus and community.
Our program focuses on maintaining an inclusive and safe environment that allows students to explore social, emotional, and physical well-being through opportunities of program initiatives and projects, campus engagement, and community outreach. The Spirit Operations Department commits to developing individuals of good character by fostering growth in leadership, a culture of superior work ethic, integrity, humility, and team work skills to encourage a pursuit of excellence which are guided by our core values.
