There may be instances when you suspect that a Â鶹¹ÙÍø employee's conduct is not in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies. The Compliance Helpline is a confidential alternative for reporting suspected unethical or inappropriate activity, including financial reporting, internal accounting controls, audit matters, waste, and violations of any federal or state laws or University policy.

While you are encouraged to report these issues directly to your immediate supervisor or to the appropriate Â鶹¹ÙÍø administrator, Â鶹¹ÙÍø recognizes that this may not always be an option and has made the Compliance Helpline available for this reason.

Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Compliance Helpline is operated by an outside vendor 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can report information anonymously to a trained professional who will ask you questions. Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Office of Institutional Compliance receives all calls and online reports.  All reports are investigated and addressed as appropriate. The Office of Institutional Compliance will protect the confidentiality and anonymity of those making a report to the extent provided by law.

When calling in a concern, please provide as much detail as necessary so that appropriate action can be taken.  This can include the following:

• Your name (optional if you would like to remain anonymous).
• Contact information, such as e-mail, telephone, or address (if PO box, please include a physical address)
• Description of the issue or concern
• The location of the issue of concern
• The name(s) of the person(s) and department(s) involved
• Date when you first became aware of the issue or concern
• Name(s) of other(s) who know of issue or concern

and state law prohibit retaliation against any employee who, in good faith, reports an instance of suspected wrongdoing or participates in an investigation pertaining to allegations of wrongdoing.
